Coming Out of Lurk Mode!!!!!

Hey Ladies!!! I've posted a couple of times but I would really like to be more active and involved on this board...so I guess it's time to come out of lurk mode lol!!!

I'm getting married on 1/8/11 to my wonderful FI who is serving in the U.S. Army. Our colors are navy blue and white with silver accents (We chose navy blue b/c my FI and all his GM will all be wearing their Army dress blues). I'm from Warner Robins, GA and we're getting married at the military base here.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on this board!

I'm getting married on base in Warner Robins also! FI is in the air force and he's from Warner Robins too. Where are you having your reception?

Wow! Small world lol! We're having our reception at the Heritage Club in the Ballroom West. It's the building right down the street from the Base Chapel. My FI wanted to get married on an Army base but since I'm from WR we decided to have it here at the AF base instead. Where is your reception at?

True...I can completely understand his thinking. The military is so strict and everything your guests do will end up on you. Hopefully our guest will know how to act!!! We just wanted to keep everything on base because if you're military everything is free! Not having to pay for a ceremony and reception venue was soooo helpful financially.
