Rehersal

Ladies...Im noticing that alot of venues do not have convienient rehersal times so I wonder what you guys have done. One venue says you can only rehearse M-TH and untl 3 or 4 pm. Not convenient when your BP is all OOT. Now I understand they hold weddings on Friday evenings so did you just rehearse somewhere else?

We plan on doing a mini rehearsal in the hallway of our hotel for the same reasons of time, cost and the fact that we are all out of state.  Do you have a coordinator at your venue?

IDK Tootie - Are you set on the venue?  I mean I only went to one place in Orlando and they have our RD set for Saturday @ 3pm (and they have a ceremony that day already).  If you haven't signed a contract yet, I say you should find out what options each of the venues have that aren't the typical rehearsal times.  They can be flexible if they want.  BTW - what day are you requiring the WP to arrive in Orlando?  That can also dictate things too.  We are having a Sunday wedding so we aren't requiring anyone there until Friday morning.

When we were going to have the ceremony and reception at the same venue, they had similar restrictions, but for other reasons we will now be having the ceremony in a church. They gave us 2 hours for the rehearsal the day before the wedding, so all good there.
