Tall brides HELP!!!

I am 5 feet 9 and a half inches talk. (I'm holdin on to the half! LOL)  My FI is 6 feet.  If I wear heels I will be taller than him.  I AM A SHOE GIRL AT HEART!!!  I have tired and tired to find flats that are worthy of my wedding day but have found nothing.  I know I can't be the only tall bride out here.  Has anyone found any flats that are wedding worthy?  Any site suggestions?  HELP!!!

If all else fails I will wear my heels and take them off for pictures.

I'm 5' 8".

Girl wear your heals and have FI buy a shoe that has a thick soul.  Problem solved.

I'm tall too, FI is 6'4". Have your FI try on the shoes he will be wearing for the day and you may be surprised. You may be able to get away with a decent sized heel.

I'm wearing my heels though.

I'm 5'9.5" too.
 
FI and I are the same height. I am wearing flats for the ceremony and pictures so we will be the same height. Anything else I am wearing my heels.

I'm 5'8" and Hubby is 6'1", I wore my 3 inch heels and it looked fine.  I think like pp mentioned if he has on a thicker sole shoe you would be okay.

I am also  5'9" and my fiance is 5' 10". I will be wearing my heels the whole time. He doesn't mine when I am taller than him :-)

I'm 5'9 and FI is 5'11.  I am wearing 2 inch heels that put me right at his eye.  I am sure he will have heel in his shoe that will raise him about an inch, so I am not worried.  I got my shoes at DSW.  DSW and Payless have reasonable sized heels.  So does Cole Haan, and they have a bridal collection.

My FI is 5'5" and I am 5'8". I'm always taller than him so that is life as I know it.  I am no going to buy 5 inch heels for the wedding, but I do have a 3" heel right now that I thinking of wearing for the wedding.  They were $20 at DSW. If I find something I like better than I will buy another shoe, but right now this one is the winner.  I would love to dye it orange.  

A good photographer will create poses that minimize the height difference.  I'm not worried about beign taller than him.  He definitely doesn't worry about it.

I'm the same height as you and FI  is 6'4 so I don't have the heel problem. But like pp said have hubby try on the shoes he plans on wearing. From the sound of just his height being 6' you should be able to do a 2"-2 and a half" heel and you will be eye level with him

I am 5.8 and FI is 6.2. I'm actually not a girl that wears heels at all so I am trying to find some comfortable ones for the wedding.  I will wear what ever is conmfortable I'm not worried about the height thing.

I'm 5'9 and FI is 5'7 .  I'm all about my shoes too!  And I'm usually a 4-5" kinda girl(You should see our closet) But since I'm always half a foot taller than him elsewhere we agreed that I would wear flats to the wedding.  I ordered some really cute jelly flats and covered them in orange rhinestones.  They turned out great and I ended up loving the flats more than a pair of purchased pumps because they have my personal touch.

I'm about 5'10 and my FI is 5'11.  My heels are 2 inches. I got them from David's Bridal.  I am encouraging him to wear lifts.

I purchased shoe lifts that added 1.5 inches to his height. I'm relieved!

i wore a short heel, i am 5'8 H is 6'2. I didnt want to be taller than him either, but I also couldn't wear a large heel becaue of my dress.

I'm 5'8" and FI is 6'1"  He bought me these 4.5 inch heels (in siggy) and I'm wearing them!  We'll be standing eye to eye.  He loves me in heels!

Where did you get the lifts, I am pushing my FI to wear them as well.  I just think it will look better if he is taller in the pictures you know

Im 5'9 and a half too.  FI is 5'4 at best.  I dont think there is much hope for us lol.  I haven'd decided if im going to wear heals at the wedding or not. I wear them everywhere else with him  (tall heels too!) so it wont be anything new if I do.
