Invitation Calligraphy

I'm wondering what everyone has done (or is going to do) for addressing their wedding invitations?

I'm definitely sticking with DIY and have even thought of doing my own calligraphy, but I don't know if I'll be getting too in over my head.  I have very neat handwriting and I know that it will look nice, but I'm just wondering what has been done for DIY addressing.

I'm also curious about how you ensured that your lines were straight.

Thanks!!

I found a pretty scripty font I liked, that was legible enough, and I printed the addresses on the envelopes myself, with my home printer. There's no way I could afford a calligrapher.

Ditto, PP, except I printed labels that came with my kit. I have nice handwriting, too but the printed labels just looked so much better.

find a script font you really like..and print those on the envelopes one shade lighter than the pen you are going to use.. trace! voila! instant beautiful, hand written calligraphy. good luck ladies.
