Hair Help (PIP)

Ok Ladies, I am on the hunt for my big day hairstyle (AND shoes, lol). And I have no clue what to do. Tomorrow I am supposed to call a hairdresser I have never used before and make an appt. I fell in love with Neicy Nash's sew-is this past week end and I have asked on here about them. I REALLY want one. (Although I havent decided on an up-do or something down yet) Below are some styles I am looking at right now. If anyone has any sites I can look at please help. TIA!

Even though this is alot of hair I do like it.

my fave so far

I just generally like this one, dont know about for the wedding though.

Now, you know I'm one of the most indecisive ppl on here! lol. But I'd have to see the dress to know what kinna hair. The hair has to compliment the dress.

I was the same way for my reception shoes! You'll find a pair.

Here's my girl, lol. It doesnt show the detail very well here.

This is what the detail looks like on the bodice and from the waist to tip of the train.

I'm thinking hairstyle 3 or an updo. But an updo over either of those... With a bad necklace and earrings.

One suggestion I will make to you if you are planning on doing a sew-in...make sure you invest in some good quality hair, esepcially if you are considering a curly style or if you are going on honeymoon immediately after the wedding. I would suggest something like Bohyme brand if you are planning on beauty supply store hair. The last thing you want is for your hair to be a tangled mess from the heat, humidity, chlorine, salt and other issues you might encounter on honeymoon cos being a curly-haired girl myself curls are hard to maintain and ALWAYS thirsty. lol Probably something wavy would be ideal...you can always curl it more or strighten it if you like with less maintenance.

Hay nah, lol. I didn't think there were any SC Knotties on here nice to meet ya! I am loving that one too. Had my hair cut in a bob but when I got engaged I started letting it grow out, now its shoulder length, might have to chop it off again lol! And the one with those curls oooooweeee it's gorgeous.

Hi Artemis, my next questions were gonna be what brand of hair lol. And I didnt even think about what our honeymoon would do to it, good looking out. We are going to be at the beach and thinking about it, this might not be a great idea!

Girl...curly hair is sooo hard to maintain. Trust me the sun and wind and hair and salt from the ocean can have you looking like a 1970's Diana Ross whose blow dryer fell into the tub during a lightning storm...in other words frizzy and DRY. However you can still go curly as long as it isn't too tight of a curl. I would suggest Bohyme brand French Refined curls. I think though that you can still acheive the curly styles by using hot rollers on a wavy texture...plus it will not be as dry and will be MUCH easier to maintain. For good wavy brands try MyLuxeHair, Laniks Hair Boutique or Wagman's. All of those have websites you can order from and they all have really pretty, good quality and NATURAL looking hair. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I have to start doing my research on the hair, I may even go with that bob style as a sew in to keep from cutting my own.

PERFECT! Thanks for the advice!!! I am sooooo not the girl that goes to the salon every week (shoot or every other week). I will if I chop it off, but like now when growing it out, I maintain and do it myself, lol! So forgive me if I ask stupid questions. Why didn't anyone tell me that hair was this dang stressful LMAO!

I like #4 I would reccomend a remy type of black diamond or Boheyme hair, this hair comes straight but waves when it is wet. It is PERFECT for wedding to honeymoon, it doesn't tangle after washing and it flat irons back straight.

So with that type hair I wouldn't have a problem at the beach?
