Wedding band question

Do you plan to wear your band over or under your engagement ring?

FI and I were watching something on tv, it may have been four weddings. The officiant said something like place the band over the engagement ring to symbolize your promise to marry her has been met and your love is locked in. I can't remember the exact words but FI liked it so he wants me to wear my band over the engagement ring.

Every jewelry store I have been in said that wedding band goes on first and then the engagement ring..so that the wedding band is closer to your heart...to answer your question  I'll be wearing my wedding band "under" my engagement ring.

I will have two bands so one will be placed on each side of my engagement ring.

I will be wearing my band under my engagement ring as well.  I have been told many times that you wear the band close to your heart.

I was told the same thing. So I wear mines under as well.

Wedding band then e-ring. I'll be sad to give up my e-ring a week days before the wedding, as I'm having the two soldered together.

I think I'll have an enhancer... so I don't have much of a choice.

I guess I am going against the grain. I'll be wearing my band over my e-ring. My engagement ring is a little lose. Not too lose but enough that if I lose weight, it'll slide off while washing dishes and I won't know. But I didn't want to adjust it because I also tend to retain water from time to time. So I got my wedding band at my size so that it fits just right above the engagement ring.

my "band" is a guard so my e-ring slides into it.so I guess mine is over and under! lol
