So FI and I have always discussed having a outdoor ceremony. In Milwaukee,Wisconsin there aren't many places to choose from. The most popular place is our art museum and that place books up at least 2 yrs in advance.
I've started the planning process again so Im like well let me just email them and get information. I found out that you can rent the roof top only for $400 if its in the daytime and $500 if its in the evening. These prices included

the chairs, tables, sound system, setup, and teardown are all included in the rental fee. 
I couldnt believe this, Looks like my outdoor wedding will happen after all. The reception will still be indoors.

    Congrats!  I was just in Milwaukee this past weekend.  My little sis got married 7/2/2011 at Parklawn Church and the reception was at the Double Tree on 6th and Wisconsin.  We took the wedding pics in front of the art museum.  (which is something you might wanna consider b/c there scenery is so pretty down there with the fountain and greenery outside.  It made for some beautiful pics.)  It was HOT Sat down there in that sun taking those pics.  Oh well, we had a great time (even though i didn't get to make it to summerfest).

    Congrats looks pretty right next to the water and only $500 that is a steal!

    I think that's a great spot to have an outdoor wedding, especially since it's overlooking the water.
