Hey ladies had a quick question.

How would you go about finding a makeup artist that can do black women without making them look sick afterward?  What's a reasonable amount for a makeup artist?  I rarely wear it so I'm not really sure wear to start.

How are you  ladies doing your makeup?

    Have you started looking at bridal shows? Or the MAC counter?

    I've seen and been to the MAC counter....they're good and i fell asleep in my makeup once and girl it was still flawless the next morn lol! They usually charge fifty bucks....

    My makeup artist is black and does all kinds of makeup. Since I have so many bridesmaids my face is free. Have you started looking through makeup pics to see what kind of makeup artistry appeals to you...meaning do you want a simple face, dramatic lips and eyes, etc. 

    Think about a certain superstar and her makeup that she wears and look through her pics to see...LaLa Anthony, Kim K, Tyra Banks, Brandy, Monica...they all have great makeup artists!

    I have a bridal show coming to my area in January.....I need to make sure I go. I didn't think of looking at the MAC counters. I'll look into that.

    I didn't think about all those kinds of appeals. Now I'm gonna be looking and paying attention  when I'm watching t.v. I can see myself now....carrying pictures of their faces so I can get an idea of what I want. LOL!
