Are you doing makeup or hair first when getting ready on your wedding day?

So this may be a very stupid question, but as my day approaches it's something I didn't think about. So I'm curious, what everyone else is doing. Hair or Makeup first?

I'm not 100% sure yet for myself, but I think I will be doing hair then makeup. 

My reasoning is that way the makeup will look the freshest/nicest as possible for the formal portraits (which I'm taking before the ceremony).  If you are also having your BMs get their makeup done, I would have your makeup done last, for the same reasons.  Your hair should be able to "stay nice" longer than your make up, imo.

ditto, i did hair first so makeup would last and so I could eat/drink longer.

My makeup artist recommended hair first, then makeup.  That's what I did, and it turned out just fine.

Same as PP - I did hair first and makeup last.  There were some hair touchups after the makeup, but a majority of it was all done.
