I am at the two month mark! My time is winding down and pretty soon I will be marrying my love. I can't explain, nor contain my excitement! Ahhhh!

I admit that I am nervous too. This is a major event, a huge chunk of change, and I am seriously emotionally attached to this wedding. I am nervous that it won't meet my expectations and I am struggling with trusting some of my vendors to execute my vision.

In lighter news, I have a major check...the invites went out and we have a few RSVPs. No declines just yet...definitely need like 15 though so we are praying! That sounds worse than I mean for it to.

My to-do-list scares me...take a look:

Confirm cake flavors with baker
Email shot suggestions to photographer
Discuss specific preferences and get special event music list to DJ
Do seating chart and meal selection list
Finalize programs, menus, and escort cards with the designer
Reserve barware
Finalize bar plans with bartending service manager
Purchase veil and accessories
Register at a department store...late I know
First dress fitting on Saturday
Finish ceremony planning with FI, Pastor, soloist, and reader

    2 MONTHS! Geesh time really is moving. Congrats on the checks and I am sure you will get that to do list down in no time. Yours a pics I really really want to see. Soon you will be signing off and enjoying your hard work. Enjoy these last two months because it will be here before you know it.

    Congratulations!!! It will be here before you know it ~ and it will all be fabulous :-). For the last few days I have woken up and said to myself "1 month, 1 week and "x" number of days more" .... :-).

    Thanks again, everyone. It's crazy that I already have two response cards back! So far 100% acceptance and EVERYONE wants the chicken option. Lol...we gave an early response deadline in anticipation of having to track down a few and with the possibility of adding some plus ones here and there. So I'm just waiting it out to February 1st now.
