Officiant Help

I am having a destination wedding and never thought about having to find an officiant bc I always thought my pastor would marry us.  Since that is not the case do you ladies have any help on trying to find the right officiant.  I'm going to post this on the DW board as well but would love help from you all.

    This may require a little networking on your part. If you have any friends or family in/from the area that's where I would start. Also ask co-workers, church members & your venue (I'm quite sure they have run into this situation before) for help. HTH  & Good Luck.

    Depending on your budget, it may be easier and less stressful to supplement some portion of the travel costs and take your officiant with you.  I thought about having DW and my photog was the non-negotiable for me. See what the cost is. It may be doable.
