Monogram Cake topper

For those that did their own painting & bling on the cake topper, what type of paint did u use?

I'm using Metallic spray paint.

I just used the standard paint that they sell at Micheals and it worked fine.  Its like really cheap for the small bottle, I think it was less then a dollar a bottle.  I told the person I was painting something made out of wood and she said that that paint would work and it did.

Im assuming they have the rhinestones too? Im also doing my own....

I'd order the Hot Fix Stones in 10ss and 16ss online. It's WAY CHEAPER if you do it that way. Aside from having to purchase a bunch of little bags from Micheals at $4 a piece. You can get 1000 on ebay for that amount.

i just bought a monogram letter at the craft store, it was a mirror anyway so i didnt have to paint it, just glued on the stones, but if i had to paint it id just do it silver or gold
