Bridal Shower was a Success!! LONG PIP

Hey Ladies. I know I know Long Time No Hear. LOL. I have just been really busy. My Shower was Last Saturday. It was sooo Beautiful. My sister did a great job. Now we planned on more ppl coming but you know you can't make ppl come to stuff. I feel like the people that were there were the most important folks to me so I was happy( plus I dont like to be bothered with a whole lot of folks at one time anyway. This wedding is going to KILL ME!! LMAO)

Here's the Deets:
Of couse Black folks can't be on time. Surprisingly I was.The shower started at 3pm which I expected the shindig to kick off about 4. By time 4 came around I had 1 BM and 1 MOH there. We had already ate and played games when the BM S came(y'all know the one who never answers). We were about to clean when BM N showed up. You know I didnt even let them being that late bother me. The theme was Linens and Lingerie. When  I say got some much Lingerie and Panties and Towels Im not going to have to buy any more panties for 2 years. LMAO.

The Drama (condensed version) After I left the shower my BMs tried to talk to my over worked sister about the b party. She asked if they received their invites (which they hadn't) and basically blew them off. Now yall know my sis has been doing a majority of the wedding and party planning. And she's been asking them to do little things and ask for them to let her know something by 8-15. They didn't do that so now she's planned everything and doesnt want to be bothered with them. Now Im not saying my sis attitude was right she coulda handled it better but my Bms shoulda been on top of there game being that they keep saying this is all about you. If its about me then when my sister asked yall to do something pertaining to me then why wasnt it done? Anyway. So BM feelings got hurt and my sis is talking about cancelling some of the things she planned. Because she doesnt want to spend unnecessary money if no one is going to come and on time. Which I totally understand. I told her give me a few days and I will find out whats going on and if everyone we invited will be participating in everything.

As for the mini drama, there isnt much that can be done really. Your sister gave a deadline and they should have come through. Even if they couldnt contribute at that date. Communication before the shower might have made your sis handle it a little nicely. My hubby's BM had the same issue and wound up paying for the whole bachelor party by himself because he got fed up with waiting on people. So it wasnt all that he had originally wanted to plan. But dh really appreciated it !

Looks like you got a lot of nice stuff and your sister did a great job with decorating and setting everything up!  Sorry to hear about the BM drama .... it'll be over soon!
