Custom Jewelry?

Can you guys recommend a jeweler that can create a new custom peice out of vintage jewelry? I have my grandmothers wedding ring and a couple small diamonds from DH's Grandmother's ring I want to reinvent into a peice I would actually wear.

I would recommend checking out Green Lake Jewelry Works in Northgate.  They are know for doing custom e-rings and wedding bands, but they will do other kinds of custom jewelry.  Their customer service is top notch, imo, and are great at offering details/ideas.  I'm having my wedding band designed there.

If Northgate is too far for you to visit, you could create a "Design Page" at:
    http://www.greenlakejewelry.com/

That is how I started the design process for my ring, and it helped me focus on what I wanted and what I could afford.

We custom designed my ering at Bender's Jewelers in Bellevue, as well as some other jewelry pieces. We are also having them take the diamond from FI's grandmother's wedding ring and create a custom pendant using it. It is a family owned business, and they have great customer service. I was really nervous about trusting anyone with family heirlooms, but they are just an honest family business. Their website isn't very fancy, but I would highly recommend checking them out.
