Monogram PIP

I'm doing 2x2 belly bands with my invitations. Ellone asked on the DIY board about how ppl made theirs or something like that. I originally was just gonna buy mine from CP. The ones I want are $2.99 for 15 on a page. For $2.99 I'd still have to get them cut, but for $5.98, they would cut them. {Hell no!} Then I figured, like the girls on the DIY board said, I can do it myself! I've posted the one I like and the one I made. What do you ladies think? {Sorry it looks blurry. And I now see that I need to bring the date down. Anything else?}

The only other thing I would do is move Bobby's name over a little bit...

I would also print it so you can see what it actually looks like printed...you would be surprised at how much better you can see when it is actually printed

Looks great!  I would also bring the ampersand sign (&) down a little so the bottom crosses over the line a bit - similar to your inspiration monogram. 

Also the ampersand looks italicized...you might want to straighten it out and see how it looks that way as well.  It might be a nice contrast to the rest of the italicized font. 

Go ahead girl - you are really doing this DIY thing!

Thanks ladies. I made the changes you guys suggested. I also changed the green color. It matches the mat paper from the inside of the invite. Here it is:

It looks really nice!  Have you looked at it with a less bold, thinner ampersand?  Sorry, I love to play around with stuff like this, so I could think of a million different things to try.
