Question for pocketfold invite users

Did you glue/tape/oterhwise attach the main invite ("Mom and dad request the honour of your presence at the marriage of Jack and Jill etc ...") to the pocketfold? Or was it basically just a large insert? FIe is against gluing them in for ... reasons I don't understand.

I bought mine as a kit and in the directions it called for glueing them in.  I decided not too.  My reason was this, when I get something in the mail such as an invite I typically hang it on the fridge.  For some reason the thought of trying to peel the invite off the envelope did not sit well.  I pictured what I do with it and figured it would never make it on the fridge and could end up lost.  That being said, I layed the invite in the envelope and left it at that.

I have got 3!!! invitations in the mail in the last month that were all pocketfolds. I just checked two of them were double sided tape and one wasn't attached. No glue makes since because I have been to quite a few guest houses who i invited and they are on their fridge. But I put invites on top the fridge that I recieve and mark them on the calender. So its up to you. Not much of a help was I :P

I glued mine with the Tombow which sucked ass, then I used double tape.  I think they're meant to be attached, otherwise everything just falls out when they're opening the pocketfold.

If you're just doing a loose panel invite, then I wouldn't do the pocketfold, as well ... although, I think that's why people used second envelopes - to hold the invite and inserts all together.  So maybe the way to sell it is that at least you're not using another envelope!

I attached mine with double-sided tape.  IMO, it looks pretty silly to have all of the "loose" things in a pocket, but then an invite just floating around.  If it was meant to be loose, they would have made a pocket for the invitation as well.

I used double sided tape to attach ours, didn't want them falling all over the place.
