I have 3... he has 2

Bridesmaids and groomsmen...

So He has his best buds (2) and I have 2 sisters and a 16 year old niece (3). Do we have to have matching number of girls and guys? He has a brother but he is 20 and probably wont attend the wedding because he lives out of state. We simply cannot afford to pay for his little brother to come here with all our expenses and my FI grandmother, I am sure wont pay for it. She is a nice but mean ole' biddie.

So I know it is our wedding and we can do what we want ...yaddah yaddah yaddah but would it look crazy? Especially in photos. I would hate to cut my niece out because she has been asking to be in the wedding since we were first engaged.

I HONESTLY don't think it would look crazy. It's not like he will have 10 and you'll have 2. I think you will be fine and I love the idea of just having your closest peeps.

The sides are only off by one, so I don't think it'll look crazy. You could have each BM walk alone & the GMs already standing by your FI so that its not coupled.

It will be fine as it is.  It won't be off.  Although we do, we should not get too hung up on aesthetics.

I have 4 bridesmaids and a jr Bridesmaid my niece.  He has 3 groomsmen and 1 jr groomsman.  Its uneven but we would rather have the people who are closest to us stand up for us then just have someone in there to make it even.  You can always note your neice as a jr. bridesmaid.  Don't just add someone to make it even if it's not someone you really want standing up for you.
