Freaking Out!!!

Ok.... I have had a major change of heart and lost some money in the process, but I am changing venues!! Yes I know it's super late in the game to be making such moves... but FI is not happy with the location for a late spring wedding! I totally agree and it's also qutie a drive! We are trying so hard to find a nice place in the city but I'm so scarred we won't find a place for out wedding!! Should I just break down and cry now because I feel like I will be defeated but I don't want to give up hope just yet!! HELP LADIES!! I NEED HELP AND PRAYERS ON THIS ONE!!!

Don't let this defeat you.. there had to be a reason why you cancelled that venue... Pray on it.. I am sure...you will get exactly what you want for your special day.. If u need to scream..do it ONCE.. and get it out your system!!

Don't freak out. It will be alright. It's not too late. You will be able to find something. If the venue you had is not what you and FI wanted, then I think yall are doing the right thing. Don't ever settle for something u really don't want, especially for something so special.Sit down with your fiance, decide what it is that u both want, and begin your search.

I am sure you aren't the first to have a change of heart where anything wedding is concerned:-)So take a deep breath and start believing that all will be fine. 

Did you already cancel the venue? Or are you going to cancel after you find something else? 

What is about the venue exactly are you not liking? Are most of your guests from out of town? How long of a commute are we talking? 

Why did you choose the venue to begin with? 

What is it that you are looking for in a venue?

I agree with what all the knottie sisters have said previously.  Firstly pray on it. Secondly, jump into action. This is where using your bridal party comes in. I would use your side and the groom's side. Put it out there that you are looking for a new venue. Describe your expectations and see what happends.  Even if you have to send out a mass email.  I dont know how out there you want your information but put it on facebook if you think it might help. Someone will come through with an idea that you had not thought of.  i am sure there are plenty of places avaialble, you just arent aware of it.  Don't worry. All i snot lost.  You still have time to make the change.  Your wedding will be the wedding of your dreams.  This is just a minor hiccup.

We already cancelled!
I liked the venue before because we were going to have a winter wedding... But we didn't so it's not really that great as a summer wedding venue to me or my FI!
Most of my guests are both oot and older so they won't like to travel an hour out to my weddingn and then afterwards an hour back home or worse back to there state! I want to make it very very easy for them!!
I'm looking for a closer, but bigger venue that offers an all in one so I don't have to go find and gather everything myself!!
