Stolen Identity!

I have a very bad feeling this have just happen to me…..Ok so about two days ago I got a call from a 1-877 number I was at work so I sent it to voicemail when I call it back it said it was disconnected… I didn’t think anything of it until now, I just got the call again and when I answered this Chinese (or sounded Chinese) lady sent me to this automated system before I could say anything anyway it turns out it was a loan company but I NEVER APPLIED for a loan and it was saying I did, It didn’t say any of my information but I could not talk with anybody and it hung up on me when I tried to get out of the system….

I tried calling them back like last time but the number was disconnected I tried calling like 20x…I didn’t catch the name of the comp I was just trying to get a real person....I’m very nervous and very worried I just checked my checking account and everything looks fine but I have know clue how to look in to something like this…I mean I looked the number up in Google and everything but nothing came up… I’m going to call my bank to make sure nothing have happen…I freaking out sooo bad right now….I just don’t know what to do….

Take a deep breath and don't freak out just yet.  It could be a scammer because I got a call from some random number a few weeks ago saying something about some kind of account that doesn't even exist.  I googled the number and it turns out that lots of people have gotten calls from a number like that and it was a scam.  Plus, if you're calling the number back and nothing comes up and it's disconnected, then it sounds like a scam to me.  Just make sure to check every single account that you have and go from there.  I wouldn't start freaking out until money starts missing from any accounts.

I agree. I've gotten the 800 calls before & it was someone who spoke another language. When I would ask who it was, they just hung up. People send that junk through email all the time as well. As long as you don't give out any personal information, you should be fine. Like pp said, check your acct(s) consistently to monitor your funds. Also, your bank would contact you if it is suspicious activity going on.
