I have 365 days left ladies, I can't believe how fast it went! Thanks to AA Sista's I've been very productive; drove my mom, sister, kids & DH crazy in 2 week intervals (time off from school) LOL, but every aspect of the VW is planned except BP confirmations which we're doing in January 2012.
So let me tell you about my morning. I can't remember if I told ya'll that I got a new engagement ring back in Feb/ Mar, but I couldn't have it until the 1 yr mark or later.
Well, it totally slipped my mind that today was our 1yr mark. Thanks to DH & his antics this am. So, we went to Walmart this morning, but the drama starts before we leave the house: I didn't get any coffee this am
See, he's been on vacay & we've been taking turns making coffee. It was his turn & I got mad cuz I love the way he makes my coffee & he knows this. (No, he was up, dressed, ready to go). While in Walmart, no matter what I said he had a problem with it. I just shut up & followed him. So, at checkout, I say babes go pull XYZ $ from ATM. DH decides this is the perfect time to begin suffering from amnesia, dyslexia, blindness & arthitis of the hands. Mumbles something then sits on the bench which is right next to the ATM, & looks at me like I did something wrong. Now I'm fuming mad, but we in public & that ain't how I do things. We finish up & come home, no cussing him out in the car, got the 10yr old...Now I'm rocking the mad black woman face & avoiding him like the plague (LOL). About 30 min later DH comes over to my office smiling really hard, closes the door and says quote, "I know I can be a real PIA, but will you marry me again (& gets on bended knee). What's a girl to do I smiled, laughed & said Yes....so now I'm not mad anymore lol.
I know how mushy us AA ladies can be so I thought sharing would be nice
