Stupid Etiquette Question

In your invites..if you do a return envelope..do I have to stamp the return envelope so the guests don't have to.?? Serious question lol

from what I have read on knot, it is supposed the you as the hosts would include it.

Yes you should put a stamp on the envelope. If you don't than your guests will have another excuse as to why they didnt send it back :-)

I'm breaching etiquette because I want majority to use the website or email to RSVP. So I'm not putting the extra stamp on there. And actually from the e ladies this is recent. People used to reply on their own stationary. Yeah I lurk the e board daily

Yea I think it goes along w/ the whole thing of asking someone to come celebrate w/ you, you dont have them pay for anything, even if it's only $0.45 lol. Plus, like PP said, it gives them no excuse for not returning the RSVP

or instead of using a return notification you could always include something to tell them to reply by using the wedding website or designate a special wedding phone number and voicemail just for replies....I actually had that for my 1st wedding and the phone call replies worked out great and no extra postage on my behalf...

I didn't think about that. Stamps give you no excuse for not RSVP'ng. Makes perfect sense. But like LadyCane said, the $.45 adds up.! Lol.
