I was wondering if anyone completed premarital counseling or if your spiritual advisor recommended any books...

    We are in the middle of counseling now. One of the books our pastor recommended was the 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. If you have the opportunity for counseling, I highly recommend it.

    We are in the middle of our classes and the Pastor doing ours recommended, Five Love Languages, Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. He recommeneded myself to read, The Fruitful Wife by Hayley DiMarco. All have been insightful. I also like previous poster recommend if you can do counseling do it. He also recommends to follow up counseling 1 month, 6months and 1 year after wedding.

    Thanks ladies... we are going to do premarital counseling with my pastor and she also advises brush up sessions after marriage. Thanks!
