bing?

anyone ever pay attention to bing's price predictor on flights??

it said that prices would go up 50 bucks and they went up atleast that. now it is saying prices should go down.. i'm just wondering how much longer i should wait.. when i was looking at originally they were 338 and now they are starting at 400...

I haven't used it but I got email updates daily from kayak that were very helpful and over time I watched the prices. It doesn't predict the future but at least you can see a high and a low average over a number of days and decide. Good luck! :)

I like the bing price predictor.  It actually used to be farecaster, then microsoft bought it.  It's generally reliable (as much as anything predicting ticket prices can be...).

I paid close attention to it for our NY flights we just booked.  It seemed fairly reliable at predicting when the prices were going to change but I had to check in almost everyday.  The price could be down for only 48 hours sometimes and I missed it.

For NY it only predicted for JFK and often the other airports were cheaper.  Be careful to check if the predictor is only for one airport and also check the average pricing in the statistics link if available.
