We actually went to elementary and middle school together. We met again about 6 or 7 years ago at a friend's apartment.

10.  When did you get engaged and how did he do it??
December 18. 2009 I actually had a feeling it was coming and let his godsister know that I didn't want him to do it on Christmas day. We had a flight out for my graduation around noon, but Zales didn't open until 10, so he actually had to pick up the ring on our way to the airport. He made me watch that wonderful little box in his pocket the entire day!!! He actually proposed at dinner that night and had the waiter bring it on the tray with my margarita

Beaumont, our hometown at the Holiday Inn Plaza

If I'm being hoity-toity: eggplant and bordeaux; in reality? purple and wine

14. Where are you honeymooning?
idk; was thinking we'd have to put off, but after Grandpa's wonderful gift...we might be able to make something happen!

15. Favorite wedding vendor so far?
don't really have one yet, but I like the lady I think we're going w/ for the flowers

16. Biggest wedding splurge?
is looking like it will be photography/videography; also really want some uplighting

17. What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't want to do?
sorry, had to alter this question a bit. I don't mind the whole slide show thing, but w/ my technology background everyone automatically assumed that I'd be making ours and are saying how amazing it's going to be. don't really want to do it myself and scared it will kinda suck and/or look to AWish to make an entire presentation about me/us. it just stresses me out to think about it

oh, any of them. I weddings and know I would get some great ideas from all of you guys

at the moment: Hunger Games series (b/c of my students)

The Sound of Music

maybe Law & Order Special Victims; I watch entirely too much reality tv though. Bad Girls Club and Jersey Shore make me chuckle

Mori Lee b/c that's the dress I picked out

23. Any advice you can give?
I try to remind myself that this is not just a show that we're putting on, but the beginning of the rest of forever. I am very bratty, so I made a vow that I would not be that bride.

24. Anything you wish you could change about your wedding?
nah, not at the moment. I'm pretty happy with how things are going so far

25. Share something about yourself!!
I'm not Catholic, but I always try to make a change for Lent (my mother has instilled her many crazy habits in me!) I usually do french fries b/c I could literally eat them everyday, multiple times a day and this year I added in fast food - which I define as an eating establishment with a drive-thru. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow, and I am pumped. It hasn't been especially hard for me and I have NEVER gone this long w/o fast food! WOOT!

I had a Mori Lee dress!  I can't believe you've gone 3 weeks without fast food!  That would be so hard for me to do.

Ha! My sister loves the sound of music. She is also my roomate (and I don't believe in having TV in bedrooms but anyways) she hogs the remotes and watch that things at least once a week. LOL!

It's really nice learning a little more about you.

I gave up Chocolate for lent Not sure if I will make it. LOL

Loved reading about you. You live up the street from me! lol. I'm in Spring.

I also gave up fast food for Lent (I'm not Catholic either!) I want KFC hot wings as soon as it's over, followed by Chick fil a, followed by Whataburger, followed by Frenchy's! lol
