BM communication

Is it wrong to expect a BM to reply to a text within a day?  I'm talking 24 hrs here.

Why don't you just call her?

It's my CA BM.  A call typically lasts an hour. :P

Ditto, it's been 24 hours. If you really need something call her. Then you can get annoyed if she doesn't call you back.

Ugh...I hate to say it but have to call her if it's important. Yes, it's ok to be annoyed though because well...she expects YOU to respond within 10 minutes but she can't be bothered.

Ditto...just call and say you have to go because of XYZ but you just wanted to ask her very quickly blah blah. Or do a sly dial. =)http://www.slydial.com/

I absolutely despise talking on the phone generally, but before I'd get mad about a text message, I'd probably just call the person or do a sly dial.

Ooh, sneaky!!! Thanks for the link!

Actually, after talking with MOH and NO ONE knows if she's coming up next weekend (when she's supposed to stay with me) I'm going to call her tonight and have a chat.

Blerg. Of course, since you have your facial, you h ave that as an excuse to get of a call! totally get you on that though. My former BM from AZ (she's not coming now) would NEVER let me off the phone. Even when I said, "Sorry, but I have to go, really have to use the bathrooom!" she'd say, "Ok sweetie, love you! Oh! and blah blahbity blah."

    Slydial...oooo!

Yeah, 24 hours is not acceptable to me. Not if it's wedding related.
I just think it's rude in general if people don't text back. If they're at work, fine, but on break, or once off work, if they're busy, send a quick, 'can't talk, call or txt you back later' it's not hard people!
I would text her again telling her you would really appreciate if she got back to you as soon as possible. Tell her she's adding stress that you don't need, lol!
