Monday Accountability

Good Morning Ladies!!

It has been awhile, but I hope that everyone is still getting it in and staying on  track and working towards the goals that everybody has set for themselves. This post is a check-in regarding weight loss, and your exercise routine.

So ladies, what have you been up to?

I was doing good in June, but I have been slacking this month as far as my workout is concerned.  My diet is ok.  I am holding steady at 155lbs.  My goal is to flatten my tummy, so I don' have a weight loss goal.

Cincy's HM pic was motivation for me.  My goal this week is to run for 40 minutes 4 times.   I gotta start my pilates again also.

    Thanks BluIvory82 for posting.

I fell off the wagon for a minute but I will get back on. 4th of July weekend I enjoyed myself with good food and drinks. Last weekend FI and I went swimming and that was a lot of fun and exercise but I haven't been drinking enough water.

Question: Does flavored vitamin water count towards drinking water or do I need to drink pure water?

These articles might be helpful Carla. I would just be careful of the sugar content. That is how they get you. We don't need the extra grams of sugar they try to put in anything. That is why I am really carefully about what i eat, and i check the label. Labels are your friend. They tell you what you need to know about what you are about to put in your mouth.

If you are struggling to drink water, you can make your own "flavored water" and put some lemon and or lime juice in it or cut up pieces of lime or lemon and put them in your glass.

    HTH!

As for me, my body is going out of wack, LOL Seriously I do not know what is wrong with it. if you notice my ticker. i am 3lbs under what I wanted my goal weight to be. Currently I am 137lbs and I have lost 30lbs in total. I do NOT want to lose anymore. I have cut down my cardio to twice a week, but I also have started strength training twice a week too. I would love to tone my arms ,my booty and my stomach.

I was successful at maintaining my weight for a month at 140lbs and the my body just said, i think we should lose more. I did change my workout routine from doing boot camp twice a week and not I kickbox once a week and get on the elliptical for my cardio.

Any suggestions on what I should do?? HELP

BluIvory82 - If I were you I would allow a 5 pound (below your target weight) cushion. You still have 11 months before your wedding and what if that last 2 weeks you need some comfort food to calm your nerves?

As long as you look and feel great in your clothes I wouldn't worry too much about what the scale says within 5 lbs.

Gosh this is a great post. My family is on the weight loss thing crazy now preparing for the wedding. I too need to jump on. I have started my eating but not really done any exercise. Last year I loss 19 lbs. by exercising alone and didn't change much of my eating.

Then quickly i gained it back. I was also really successful on weight watchers because I was obsessed with weighing in each week.

Because of this post tonight I am going to a weight watchers meeting. Start this up again. Thanks for the inspiration.... It is only 4:45pm so I am sure there is a meeting some place close by around 5
