Venue help/reviews

I'm  going crazy trying to choose a venue, but I think I've decided on the Canal. Anyone have experience with them you can share?

Basically, we want an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, ideally at the same location. Golden gardens would be great, but we feel like it's too public. My fiance didn't like Shilshole (doesn't want to be married in front of palm trees). Alternately, we have a possible reception only site, but I can't find an outdoor ceremony space in the north end of Seattle that I like. Any suggestions? (Rose garden at Woodland park is already booked for 2012 summer saturdays). We're planning on ~ 120 people.

thanks!

I went to a wedding there back in October 2009.  It was nice because it was outdoor/indoor.  It was cold and iffy weather so the ceremony was indoors.  The food was breakfast buffet (it was a morning/afternoon wedding), and it was super yummy.  The space itself was good, and there was plenty of space to dance/hangout/etc.

Check out the Grand Willow Inn (if you're willing to go a bit north).  The owner is AMAZING and makes getting married SO easy on her brides.

I'm getting married at craven farms in snohomish. It has 2 beautiful outdoor ceremony locations and a big harvest barn forthe reception. Check other snohomish locations. Hope you find the perfect place!!
