checks and question

I bought the supplies to make our table numbers/menus! I purchased these frames from ikea
FI helped me pick out the paper, we picked three different patterned papers from Joann's that are blue and green patterns, a polka dot one, a geometric square design, and some different size lines (PSA: they are having 5 for $1 right now on their scrap booking paper!)

I also went to Charlotte Russe and found 6 of these braceletts for my girls:

So now is the question. What kind of earrings should I get for them? I'm also not opposed to making them. Here are a few different kinds that I thought were pretty cute, which do you think would go best with our dresses?

I like the middle one, but I think you've done plenty for your BM and you don't need to get them earrings too.  Do you really care if they all have matching ones?

I say get earrings, but don't spend a ton on them.  I agree with Jennuinne - I'd focus my efforts elsewhere vs. making them jewelry. :)

I like the middle ones. I don't think 6.50 is too bad. Do you know if any of your girls are allergic to nickel though? It is a pretty common allergy. I would just make sure they are for sensitive skin or someone might have ichy ears.

I like the middle ones also.  Tell your FI that it's better to do it now so that you're not stressed/broke/running around like a chicken with your head cut off at the very end.  =)

I would skip earrings. I'm allergic and still debating if I want to suffer through my wedding with itchy ears. I have lots of earrings I love but never wear :(

What is Charlotte Russe? Never heard of it.

You could also maybe let your bm's wear their own black earrings? Im sure most girls have them and earring shapes flatter everybody differently. I get how you wanna do a lot for ur bm's though.

oh and was looking through ur bio. I love your bridesmaids cards idea.  I bet that took HOURS.

haha, it did take hours. so i should pass on the earrings? do you think i should have given them the braceletts though? i already got those.

kst- it is this tore that they have at southcenter. it has cute clothes for skinny girls. Not my size but all my friends shop there and rave about it. It is extra cheap! Gotta love that!

Maybe i will skip on the earrings and ask them to wear black ones. I just want to give them presents that they'll remember that I got them. I dunno.. I felt like I was overdoing it but then people were buying them bms stuff like coach clutches and ipods and i am diying my crap.

jenny- i told him that, he doesn't understand but just lets me do it anyway.

AND, i have to go back to ikea to get more of those little table/menu frames since we now need 18 tables!

I say no to the earings - just request they wear matching ones.  I love the bracelet though!  :)

Also, those signs are perfect...and for .99 a steal!!  Question: do you think they could be painted...more specifically spray painted?

Give them the bracelets but not the earrings and just request they wear something black/silver.

And yes, while there ARE some people who give Coach clutches or what have you, that doesn't mean you're cheap. I think that's letting TK and Wedding Industry get to you about all the stuff you have to do for them. :P

I do like the idea of letting each girl wear their own black earrings - it solves the issue of potential metal allergies, allows them to choose something to wear, and (as always) black matches most anything.

KST - Charlotte Russe is a store similar to Forever 21.  Cheap random clothing that tends to fit anyone from a size 0-10.  So for me, it's a bit hard sometimes to shop in places like that. :P

the frames are plastic. I'm not sure why i thought they would be some nice material but they are just plain old plastic. I think that if you spray some primer on them first they could be. you could always buy one and try it.

I think the bracelets would make a great gift, plus with the hoodies your giving them, I think your girls will feel appreciated. Besides it sounds like u have a great group of girls who aren't expecting coach wristlets. and its true what KST said, thats just the consumerism of weddings trying to get ya.
