I'll start with the end: I'm done stamping, gluing (and re-gluing <sigh>), and otherwise assembling my 45 invitations.
I got 30 done last weekend, and was super proud. Then, during the week this week, I noticed that a couple of the monogram squares were popping up. Huh. Upon further inspection, they were all popping up. My Tombow permanent adhesive dispenser was an EPIC FAIL.
So today, off I went, relatively calmly, to PZ, and I got two-sided craft tape (shoulda listened to you DIY-ers, I know, but the lady at PZ told me the Tombow would be grrrrreat. Eff her.).
And it's a good thing I got an enormous roll of it because the monogram squares weren't the only thing popping up. When I opened an invite to make sure they were ok inside, the invitation mat unstuck from the pocketfold. Motherf*cker. Which is how I spent the next 3 hours re-gluing my invitation mats to my pocketfolds of my 30 (already glued) invites, then did it right for the remaining 15.
I love my invitations, and I wouldn't have them any other way, but I'm going simple and easy from here on out.
