Roce?

FMIL is hosting a roce for us the week before the wedding. (I've been told that you'd normally do it for either the bride or groom, whichever is in your own family, but since I'm not Indian, she's having it for both of us.)Can anyone tell me what's involved? Keep in mind that FI's family is Catholic so some of the traditions may not apply. But members of his family have been telling us things like, "We'll bring the eggs!" ??

    No problem! regarding the eggs - I have no idea!  I don't really see the correlation haha.  Maybe it's specific to their family or maybe it has something to do with the coconut milk.

    FI thinks that they're just making up "traditions" as they go along and are using this to throw various food items at us. Ha!

    ha ha  yes, I've had friends suggest my future family is actually just hazing the white girl ... but hey, I was never in a sorority so its cool   ;)

    Learned something new today...it is funny how there are traditions, but then it seems like each family has their own traditions...it could go on forever!
