By "walk out song" do you mean the song to enter the reception to or a song to leave to at the end of the night?  I don't think we're doing anything to leave the party.  We can't decide on whether we'll walk in to something fun, either.  I'm dying to walk in to the opening part of "Eye of the Tiger" just because it's so fun and fi and I are always playing that song together on Rock Band.  (Super geeky, I know.)  Hmm...  hiphop.  I am so out of the loop these days.  Maybe you can find a compromise between the two styles - something sort of hiphoppish but with a rock sensibility.  I googled entrance songs and saw a lot of suggestions for Crazy In Love and Let's Get It Started.

Could you do both?  Entrance songs last about 1 minute.  Could you start off with some Viva la Vida for 30 seconds and have the DJ transition to a hip hop song for the rest?  Or maybe there's something off the JayZ/Linkin Park album that could work.  You get a mix of the hip hop and rock.    I know there was also a Chris Martin (Coldplay)/ Kanye West song, but i forget the name and don't know if the lyrics would really apply or be appropriate.  Or like pp said, Jai Ho - just totally scrapping hip hop vs. rock and going with hindi/bollywood

I was listening to this song this morning and I thought it would be a great intro song:  I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas  It starts out slow and then gets really fast.  So while the DJ is introducing you, you can play the "That tonight's gonna be a good night" part.  Then as soon as the fast music starts, you enter...The song still has a rockish feel but with a mix of hip hop.

OH!  I second previous post!  I was just listening to the Black Eyed Peas song this afternoon, and thought this would have been a great entrance song for the reception.  We struggled with picking an entrance song as well.
