You want to make sure that the pleats (the folds in the skirt part) show straight between your feet.

Can you scootch it down a little bit, it seems a little short.

Also, do you want your neck line covered so much?  It's hard to see your necklace.

Just pull the petticoat down a little so that you're not wearing the equivalent of flood water pants.

Ok. Pull it down a bit and straighten the pleats more (embroidered and sequined chiffon doesn't like to fold neatly, it seems). Good to know. Also, it may look too short becauseI didn't have shoes on when I was wrapping it; I put them on to go outside and I couldn't find my flats

I have some trouble convincing the petticoat to stay down; it catches on my navel ring if I keep it right at my belly button and too far below it and it slides down (darn pudge). I'll make some adjustments and maybe tomorrow it'll be correct.

About the petti coat

I'm a little chubby on my tummy as well..what I do is tie the string very very tight at about 1.5-2 inches below my belly button....

Oh...and I suck in my belly for the entire night ^_^

I debated wearing a corset underneath at first, but that would definitely make it too short. The skirtwould want tomove to the smallest part of the corset, and the smallest part of my waist is a good 3 inches above my belly button.
