So exited! Just sent in the contract and deposit for our photographer! It was also the first time I has to write my future last name! Yay! We went with Red Sparrow Photography. Katie is awesome and so easy to work with. We just clicked and FI and I both love her work. Can't wait 359 days!

    Congrats!  Sparent, I also would suggest checking out Kristin Harris (she is ours, two photogs for the day and the engagement shoot for 1,500. All rights to all pictures so we can print wherever.) and Heidi Caldwell (1,100 for all day for two photogs and all rights to photos for printing on your own as well)

    Chelsea I'm happy for you! The photographer is a HUGE check and it feels so great to get those big vendors taken care of! yay :) Will you be doing an e-shoot :)

    I actually met with Kristin Harris as well. I loved her work but I didn't quite click with her like I did with Katie and I want to make sure I feel comfortable with our photog. I don't think we are going to do an e-shoot just for budget purposes. If we do my cousin who is a photographer will probably do some shots for us for free.

    I'm glad you chose one that clicked with you. that's the most important thing. That's a shame you don't get an e-shoot.. Check on livingsocial.com though. seriously. tehre are all kinds of great deals for photography on there. you dont have to use your one photog for everything if you can find taht someonewhere cheaper!

    I bet you could call and ask if it could be used for just you and your Fi.
    Keep an eye out! I loved our e-shoot so much. Definitely worth it.
    Or if your cousin can do it that's awesome too! That was one of my requirements when picking a photog was making sure the e-shoot was included in the price (and heidi was only 100 bucks more if we went with her)

    I met with Kristin after your recomendation on another post! Your photos are so cute btw! I have seen the living social deals and groupons so I figured I could get it done one way or another if we end up wanting photos.
