Are we talking like the actual printed program? or all the things happening at the reception and something could be a surprise like your friends and family doing something for you?  LOL, sorry not much sleep to go on these days.

lol sorry i should've been more clear

I meant the reception program...should the bride and groom have any say in what happens?  OR should it be left completely up to the MCs and friends?

Ya Bells...thats what I was thinking as well....

Or the B/G don't want to be caught off guard .....

So in my case one of the MCs wants to keep it a surprise while the other one wants to keep us in a loop....

...any ideas on how I can handle it.

I think the B & G should have control of that like Bells said for the above reasons, but the one MC that doesn't want to share, I would make sure about timing wise and also to make sure you know waht is he generally planning if he really doesn't want to give away the surprises so you can allot him that much time instead of sitting through 45 mins of something you are not really interested in and it messes up your whole timings for other stuff because it was a surprise to you.

Just let him know that the evening will be a lot less worrisome for you and go more smoothly if you knew certain things in advance.

Bride and groom should be involved in the timing at least - the MC and friends should know how much time they have to work with...

    5:00 pm - Get ready
6:00 pm - Start Driving to Venue
6:30 pm - Cocktail hour starts
7:30 pm - Guests enter, find table, get a champagne glass, MC announces names:
    7:35 pm - Bride's parents enter
    7:38 pm - Groom's parents enter
7:41 pm - new Mr and Mrs K enter
7:45 pm to 8:00 pm speeches  (bar closed down)
8:00 pm to 8:15 pm two indian dances - one by friends, the other by cousin (bar closed down)
8:15 pm first dance, (bar still closed down)  and welcoming folks onto dance floor (bar open again)
8:20 pm buffet open, dessert bar open - MC takes care of alerting tables to the buffet - service on both sides
    ...
    ...
12:50 am - last dance call
1:00 am take down everything - decor, tables, chairs, etc.

    THanks Hina

What we ended up doing was FI and I sat down and debated what we wanted...I say debated b/c I had to really prove my side (or he had to prove his side) as to why we should bring this up with the MCs or why it should be left up to them...we came up with a good list and each MC recieved the list...now we'll let them continue with the planning and see how it goes *crosses fingers*

Games that are targeted for the groom and bride to see how well they know each other, um... um... games to get the centerpiece if you are giving it away for the guests to play.  Pictionary between groom and bride on the dance floor for everyone to help out with :)  opening up the dance floor earlier, um, in between speeches, the MC could ask questions for the audience to respond to - romanticness, or where did you take your spouse on your anniversary :)
