I'm still kind of new to this board.. Well I feel new at least I think I've been on here for 6 months at least. Either way. I thought for someone of us newbies we could do a whole Introductions.

1. How did you and FI meet?
2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other?
3. When is/was your wedding?
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?

1. How did you and FI meet? -- We met through a youth director in Chicago. He knew me through church actitivies and he knew my FI's parents from childhood.
2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other? -- We are both Catholic Malayalees.. (South Indians)
3. When is/was your wedding? -- June 18th, 2011
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to? -- I am looking forward to walking down the aisle and seeing his face! After the wedding I'm looking forward to moving in with him and doing what married people do.. sorry TMI

1. How did you and FI meet?: He's not my FI yet...but! We met in London. He was my cousin's best man in his wedding.
2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other?: We're both SA.
3. When is/was your wedding?: No clue lol
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?: Dancing the night away as a married couple.

He's from Andra (South India), i'm from the West Indies (Caribbean, descended from Utter Pradesh (North India)

March 21, 2009
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?
Getting a home together, and accomplishing our dreams together

At work. We worked on the same system. Ohh scandy!

Just me. He's the whitest dude you'll ever meet. No seriously, he's really pale!
3. When is/was your wedding?
Exactly one month from today. Nov 21.
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?
Starting our life together and finally being able to do all the things we said we would do "some day". Some day is just around the corner...

I was on there for a long time.. Did you end up doing your match story and getting the trip??

1. How did you and FI meet? We met at my cousin's wedding in LA more than 5 years ago and just stayed in touch over the years til we started dating almost 2 years ago.
2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other? We're both SA - specifically Catholic Malayalee
3. When is/was your wedding? September 3, 2011 (Labor Day weekend!)
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to? My FI moving to NY/NJ (he lives in Oklahoma - we've been long distance since we first met!) and just being able to see and talk to each other face to face every day for the rest of our lives!

2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other? -- We are both S. Indian (Malayalees) and Catholic.
3. When is/was your wedding? -- November 13.2010
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to? -- I am looking forward to the day after the wedding, when I can finally relax with him.

We are both SA...he's Hindu Punjabi ...I'm Hindu (my parents are from Delhi)

Finding our home! Making an offer and actually GETTING it!

I put a draft together, but we never got any trip LOL... I was still thinking about doing one after the fact since we have so many portraits to choose from...

The Internet!  Specifically, a message board.

Just him - he's Gujarati Jain, I'm as WASPy as they come.

3. When is/was your wedding?
May 28, 2010.

4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?
Besides the awesome party we're having on May 28th?  Our honeymoon!  We live together and work together, so we already see a lot of one another, but it will be really nice to get away and relax on our own.

Trust me I do! My FI is the first significant other I had in the same city! Don't worry once you guys are together it'll be even that much better!

I'm really new ) Been lurkin' a little bit though.... for a few weeks. I figured this would be a good time to join and introduce myself.

Online through a college friend of his.

2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other?
No.... I'm white and he's an American born Sindhi Hindu.

3. When is/was your wedding?
We're plannin' for July 2011

4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to?
Going on the honeymoon!

1. How did you and FI meet? We met in the military actually (about 10 years ago).  It was his first day at our location and we felt an immediate attraction.  We both felt like a jolt of some sort when we saw each other.  That happened between us twice.  So we must have known we were meant for each other.
2. Are you both S. Asian or just one or the other? I am 1/2 of S. Asian Ancestry mixed in.  My father is Sundanese and has Balinese ancestry as well (both Indonesian) and my mother is Irish, Native American and Liberian.
3. When is/was your wedding? Our wedding is June 4, 2011.  He is still stationed in Spain, so that date is likely to change.  We will know for sure soon when the date will definately be.
4. What is one thing you are/did look forward to? I'm looking forward to look on his face when he sees me.  He loves the Bindhi that I wear sometimes.  I just had one on one day when we were just dating, didn't know I was going to see him that day.. he kissed me for the first time.  He said that I looked so cute with that "thingy" on my forehead that he had to get up the nerve to kiss me.
