Indian Reception/Ceremony Venue Ideas in South Florida

Hi everyone!

I recently got engaged and am researching ceremony/recpetion venues in the South Florida area... does anyone have any suggestions on places?  We're having an Indian style wedding with 200-250 guests and outside catering.

We're not sure yet.. trying to decide between both locations.  We live in NYC but my fiance is from Ft. Lauderdale and has most of his relatives down there so we are considering having our wedding either in the NY/NJ are or Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area.  We like the idea of having a 'destination wedding' feel but also researching to see which would be the most economical.  Any Indian venue ideas in the South Florida area would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I only know Miami venues since I'm also planning.  There are a few in downtown such as Hilton Downtown, Hyatt Downtown, and and Intercontinental.  I believe Sofitel also allows outside caterin.  Good luck!

I can suggest a place that will do Indian catering in-house that I am using in the Palm Beach/Ft. Lauderdale area, but other than that I don't know of that many.

We just got married at the Doral Golf Resort in Miami, FL. Has a lot of rooms and outdoor options as well, and of course they allow outside catering. I alos have an excel sheet with venues we looked at all over FL, so feel free to send me a message for the list.

Oh yes, I have heard nice things about the Doral Resort & Spa from people who attended Indian weddings there.

I also think the Eden Roc allows outside catering.  Vizcaya is all outside catering, as is Whitehall (the Flagler Mansion in Palm Beach), but both of those are $10,000+ just to rent.
