Hi everyone....My wedding is taking place in about 3 months in the NJ/NYC area. I was originally going to drape my wedding sari over my head but after looking at all the beautiful pictures of a separate dupatta...I WANT ONE! A sheer dupatta looks beautiful and can still show off your hairstyle.
I took a quick trip to Edison and received quotes over $1000 for a very simple red dupatta with very light gold details. My sari didn't even cost that much! I just can't bring myself to spend so much on something I will wear for 3 hours. Does anyone have a recommendation for a custom dupatta/veil? I might try Jackson Heights (I found my sari here)
