Washington-Seattle

Price ranges?

Hi ladies! I'm actually recently married, and live in Arizona, but my little sister is starting to plan her Seattle wedding for next November and wants me to help her budget. I know prices vary greatly by region, but I was hoping to get an idea of what vendors average in the Seattle area.

If you'd be willing to, can you share about what you spent/are spending for:
Photographer?
Dress?
Venue?
Food?
Day-of-coordinator?

Thanks in advance!

It can range very widely depending on what you do. I am on a 10k budget and I have spent 1300 for a photographer, 550 for the DOC, anticipate 850 for my dress, 1500 for the venue, 2200 for the cater not including drinks. You can spend a lot more or a lot less if you want to and can afford it. There's a lot of good info on this board and we would probably be able to give some reccomendations if we knew what her budget for those items are.

Photographer- From what I have seen there is 1 975 (Alan Keoing?) Knot Vendor
They are mostly around 200-3000. We are probably going with Chris Sollart for 1900.

Venue- Free with food minimum (Tacoma Yacht Club since parents are members)

    Food- 2000-2500.

Dress- Probably an Alfred Angelo 700 ish

    DOC- Not having one.

But like Chelsea said the prices vary a lot depending on what you want to do.

we don't have much yet, but so far:

    photographers: jaylee photography-$2000
    chapel on echo bay: $1100
flowers: might be using pike place market vendors ($5 for large bouquet) or a more local farmers market vendor ($10-12 for large bouquet)- we're using whatever is fresh and local
food: we're looking at about $20 per person. love the menus at A Grand Affair.
