Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the boards!

When you say "south Jersey" which parts are you specifically looking for? You'd be surprised at how many venues have experience with hosting Indian weddings, so it shouldn't be too bad (hopefully!)

    Congratulations on your engagement :)

What's your timeframe? Did you both set a date?  Also, you need to know what's your budget?  it would help in narrowing down a venue, when you go and see them :)

There are plenty of places in the Middlesex county area that would be familiar with Indian weddings.

Bells just had her wedding and reception at Royal Albert's palace, so I am sure she's a great source of info if you wanted to know more about that venue.

You can certainly bargain with the venues to get things more into a budget range that you are more comfortable with. We're getting married on a Sunday in November and were able to negotiate a bit.

A few other places in the Middlesex county area are the Bridgewater Marriott and the Hyatt Morristown. We're getting married at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown and I would recommend that as well.

Hope that helps a bit more!

I work at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston and we do a ton of weddings like this.  I can definitely work within your budget, so give me a call when you can and I would be happy to help you!  Amy (973) 548-0046
