I'm also doing caterers next.  I didn't end up doing the tasting when I went down to Miami because photographers meetings took up so much time!  Are you heading to Miami to do a tasting sometime soon?

I'm also looking at DJs, did you get any feedback from any DJs that do Indian music?

Hi Nina!  We haven't booked our tickets yet for our next trip to Miami but caterers will be next on our list.  We're looking for an Indian caterer and also a Western caterer to provide a couple non-Indian food options for the cocktail hour and reception and also rentals for tables, chairs, linens, bar, etc.  Let me know who you end up going with!

As for DJs, I heard Liquid DJs, Vision DJs, Ace DJs, and Ubi's are good.  Those were the ones on our list.  We just booked Liquid DJs.  Good luck and HTH!

Also, which weekend are you going to NJ?  Wedding shopping is also one of the next things on my list. I'll let you know how Chicago goes.

I'll be in Jersey the week of Mar 29.  I'm so jealous you got liquid!  Do you mind if I ask you how much they quoted you?  I want to compare them with Vision.

Also, I'm looking for a DOC.  If you are too, this is where our team work may work.  Let me know if you're interested.  I spoke to a high end planner who is obsessed with Indian weddings and wants to reach out more to that market.  If we work together, perhaps we can get a better rate (if you're interested, of course).  Check out Jennifer J Events.  Its over my budget now, but she's very reputable.  I'm defintely open to other DOCs though.
