Oh man, there's soo much to B about. I dont know where to begin. I'll save it for when it wants to come out.

Why is rent so expensive here?  Is it really asking so much to want safety, cleanliness, and not have DH drive for hours but not pay thousands?

We really need to move before the end of this year because I don't think I can live through another stay by my ILs in our one-bedroom.  Four adults in 650 square feet for a month?  Also, if I had a regular job it would take care of both the high rent and being at home with them.

got to love the last minute folks that don't RSVP and suddenly arrive 5 days early for your wedding asking where can they put their stuff.

Oh, and last minute additions like when a distant relative invites their distant relative who has 2 kids and a nanny.

Oh, this brings back memories!  We received multiple RSVPs (some declines) from people who weren't invited.  And of course children and ILs MUST be included...

Kidlet didn't sleep last night. Well, to be accurate, he didn't STAY asleep. Didn't get him down till 10 and he woke up at 11:15 refusing to go back to sleep till 2. Then he "slept" fitfully from 2 to 7:35, and has been awake for the last 12 1/2 hours. So I was home all day with a crabby child who refused to not whine most of the day because he's been tired and wouldn't nap (I tried). He had an absolute meltdown when PT tried to get him to walk, even though he usually loves his walker. He's also having a growth spurt, so he's been alternating between eating like a bird (2/3 of a normal meal every 2 hours) and eating like a horse (twice as much as a normal meal every 4 hours). Sometimes he over-eats and then "shares" some of it back a little later. Days like this make me think I must be crazy, having another one!

He's really starting to wind down now so I might be able to get him to sleep by 8:30. That's a bit early for him, but hopefully he'll make up for last night's lost hours and let me sleep. We have to drive 45 minutes tomorrow morning to get his new ankle braces. No speech therapy, though - therapist is still recovering from her foot surgery two weeks ago.
