Hi everyone,

I was hoping some of you out there can give recommendations on some good photographers, DJs and makeup artists in the NY/NJ area. My wedding is in NY. I'm trying to speed up my planning because I am very behind. Thanks!

Thank you so much! That definitely helps. Do you know any other popular make-up artists? People talk a lot about Susmita and KC?? My wedding is in May and I am looking for other recommendations in case Marissa is booked.

I had contacted KC as well, but her prices were too high for me. She does great work though if it fits into your budget. I am sure your photographer might be able to recommend others, I know mine had said if Marissa was booked he did have recommendations for other people as well.

You can try finding one at make-up stands like Chanel or Mac at department stores by doing trials and then asking them to do the make-up for you.  Most of these girls are good but not doing it professionally yet so you can get a good deal : )
