Makeup- airbrush or airflash??

Hello ladies!!!

I'm getting married in a few short weeks!  I usually don't wear much makeup, so trying to find someone to do my makeup for the wedding is a bit of an ordeal (especially when planning the wedding long-distance).  Anybody have any experience with Airbrush or Christian Dior Airflash makeup on Indian skin?  Will it make me look fabulous, or shiny after a few hours?  Thanks!

Do you have time for a trial to see how you like either option? I think that's the only real way to figure out what will work for you and what won't (at least in my opinion).

If you're skeptical about the airflash (is that similiar to air brushing? I haven't heard ot if before) then I'd stay stick to what you know and go with the traditional makeup. At least then if you have to touch up then it won't look cakey. Again, this is all an assumption.

Sorry if that isn't much help.

The makeup type may matter less than the skill of the person applying it.  A lot of people are really happy with airbrushing (I did it, it worked out well), but I've also seen really bad airbrushing.  Same thing with traditional makeup.

Shine can be minimized by using a primer and a fixer.   I find with any kind of makeup I  look much better much longer with primer and fixer, and I am very oily.

Thanks for the tips!  I may not have time to do a trial until the week before the wedding, which is why I'm trying to just pick someone... hoping that the makeup artists' good reviews hold up!
