Help! Where can i find bridal jewelry?? Went all the way to india and zilch!

Hello ladies!  Just found this board and I am so glad I did.  I actually just got back from india (went for wedding shopping) and am so frustrated because I still don't have jewelry for my wedding ceremony.  I spent so much time on everything else that i didn't have much time for jewelry shopping.  The last day I was there I ended up just buying a bunch of random pieces of jewellery to match an antique gold set my parents bought me.. but they don't match at all!

So now I'm stuck with a gorgeous dress...and no jewelry. 

Where did you ladies get your bridal jewelry?  I found it extremely difficult to find a full matching set (tikka, bajuband, necklace, earrings, wrist/ring thingie- don't know the name lol , and the sari belt - again don't know the name, anklet)

    I had the same issue as you did, and actually went the imitation jewelry method.

    Here are a couple sites, click after the "-"

    - Bombay Fashions - Bridal Sets
    - Carma World - Full Bridal Sets - you can find full sets for $158 when scrolling down
    - On Amazon.com - doesn't look like the full set though
    - On Ebay.com - check often, always seems to have deals.

    I was able to get mine at bombay fashions for my reception outfit for $50!, and on ebay for my wedding outfit for $60!... anything is possible!

    Yea I got mine from India recently. Are you looking for imitation gold?? You can go to any Indian store and see what they may have avaliable. It's hard sometimes to get things when you are wearing real gold with fake gold.

    I would try artkarat.com and sonoor.com if you don't want to go the real gold route but merely gold plated.  I ended up buying a sonoor set for my reception and my family bought me a real set for the morning ceremony...

    I was just with a makeup artist who offers a bunch of imitation jewelry for rent. Her stuff is great and it photographs really well.

    Let me know if you want her info, I can e-mail it to you.
