MrsBM, if you didn't go to Indian where did you get all of your bridal outfits?  I'm also tryin to avoid a trip to India, but I want to make sure I go to some good stores in the US that actually have trendy lehengas and stuff.  Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Toronta has lots of Indian stores... Miami doesn't have any!  I'm going to try Jersey first.

I plan on going to India for mine because where we come from, there are few. Then again, considering my Mom did SO much shopping (90% of the 3 suitcases she brought back is mine), I will wear certain things to certain events. Why not? They're all here and brand new and the styles will always be in fashion.

Nina, try Prerana's in Orlando/Tampa.  They're the best place I've found for formal Indian wear in FL.

There is nothingggggg in the tri-county area, though.
