Plans for the week?

I have a busy week.

Monday: Working out and working on Pre-cana things
Tuesday: work out
Wednesday: dinner with friends
Thursday: Knottie G2G
Friday: Dinner with a friend
Saturday: Church clean up and sponsor couple meeting
Sunday: Church
-- Wow I hope I can work out another day in there. Actually I hope I work out the two days I say I'm going to.
-- My car wouldn't start this morning. Not the best start to the week.

I hope nothing's too seriously wrong with your car! Maybe it's just not used to the cold?

Tonight: dinner with R and some friends.
    Tomorrow: Sales meeting for Avon
Nothing else planned that I know of until Friday, which starts our second weekend at the apartment.

My weeks are pretty boring, really, lol. My friends work, my son's in school, and there's not much to do but housework, crafty stuff, and goofing off online. I should probably try to actually leave the house and get some fresh air while I can before the baby gets here. It'll be at least a few weeks before I get outside on a regular basis after she arrives!

    This week is crazy!

I need to travel to Las Vegas again for the largeset fashion sourcing event in the USA. It is great for me to go and I love being there for the fashion event, but 1 month prior to the big day and in the middle of a move to a new place...worst timing ever.

People think fashion shows etc are a lot of fun, I am sure they are for those who go for fun, but for those working the show it is not so glamorous.

This week I will be finishing my table seating cards, donation favor cards, table numbers, packing for the show and hopefully getting some bedroom furniture in.

    Hang in there everyone!

I'll be at Magic  (project, platform, slate etc)!

I'd love to meet a fellow Knottie!

I am flying out on Saturday for the Sunday set up, then will be in town until wednesday night, red eye Thurday morning (not fun), and back on the east coast friday morning.

I go with the 6 month trim because my hair doesn't grow as fast as some folks, and it's super curly, so when I come out of the shower, it's halfway down my back, and when my hair dries, it's 6 inches shorter....  I think curls tend to hide split ends.  I've been using a comb to reduce the number of broken ends I have... it seems to be helping...

Thanks for asking - I'm doing okay.  I'm moving forward, one foot in front of the other.  I started a new job, so my time online has reduced to about 15 minutes a day lol, which is probably good :D not sure.  The great thing is this job pays the rent, and all the other bills, and finally allows me to SAVE, which I have been despaarately trying to do for the last two years.

I still get calls from his family and him, but I'm trying hard just not to pick them up any longer... it is super hard, but ultimately I feel used and betrayed... I wish a human being wouldn't be so selfish and greedy, and cause others pain, but his whole family had an agenda since the beginning, and they didn't care who they stepped on...

The only advice I can give is to figure out somehow that his priorities include you in them, and vice versa....  Life shouldn't be about gaining wealth and splurging it on yourself all the time... it should be about helping out humankind in some way...  Know what you can live with, and what you can compromise on...  Be in the same city, don't do long distance relationships after marriage, it just doesn't seem to work.  Things change, first you were under your parental's roof, then single, and now you are with someone.  If you face problems, adjusting to living with someone, don't fall back in your comfort zone, learn to work things out.  Marriage is NOT a walk in the park, there will be arguments, it's how both of you work on issues... My ex-dh, believed that there should be no arguments, much less no communication, much less, he just left and moved to a different state and took a new job without telling me... it's a spiral...

I'm sure there's more... My wish for all of you girls and guys out there, is absolute happiness, peace and joy as you do embark on a new stepping stone of life.

I'm still so sorry this happened to you but so excited you got this new job. There is a plan for you and you are so lucky to have such a supportive set of people around you. Block his number as well as his family's. You do not deserve those constant reminders of selfishness.
