Bridal stores in Jersey

India is too expensive for me to go to in order to buy a wedding dress.  I figure the next best thing to India is Jersey, lol.  What are some good stores in Jersey that I may find my wedding dress at?  FYI:  I am looking for a trendy lehenga, nothing old school.

    Well besides for Jersey Shore now I guess NJ can also be known as Little India lol. Another gal on this board had a similar question. So I can give you the same advice as I gave her from the experience we had when my brother got married.

    Sheetal (they have a website),
    Sahil pretty new all latest fashions from India,
    The Mall is a new one that opened up has all the high end fashion designers,
    and Gorgeous Studio for fusion indo-western more trendy clothes my cousin got her reception dress here.
    (I'd avoid going to Maharani Fashions though a friend of mine had a terrible experience there just an fyi)

    Also definately look up some of the blogs of lehengas/saris indian fashion I've been printing pics of ideas like crazy from them. I'm going to try to put a list together of the sites.

    Thanks so much for replying!  I was so worried I wouldn't get any replies.  Is Oak St in Edison?  If so, is Edison the type of city where I will need a car to go to all the different bridal boutiques?  Or is a walking city like NYC?  Also, do recommend anything else in the area?
