The family dog

I want to include our family dog in wedding festivities. Since we're Indian, though, that may be a bit difficult. Any idea where I can put her or how she can be included? Maybe she can just sit and keep me company during the Mehndi night if I have it at home, eh? :)

Aww, she's cute! I wish I had some suggestions for you, but I can't think of anything either. Sorry!

We can't include the family dogs because we have a bit of a pack. His family has one dog; mine has three dogs, a cat, and an aquarium with three fish and a snail. The plan is to have the wedding at my mom's house, so we're probably going to kennel the free-roaming critters for the day. The dogs get excited and jump and bark, and a few of our guests have cat allergies.

I don't have a picture of his dog, but here's our pack. Me with my Scamp:

    awwwwwwwwwwwwww so cute

maybe you can have the dog hold the rings on a pillow on his back?  Thats a western idea I've seen?

Or one of the bridesmaids can walk with him?

else...having him right beside you at the mendhi is a great idea!

Yeah, I figure she won't want to miss any of the mehndi festivities, anyway. She's a classy lady and loves to entertain guests :)

It's pretty hard to incorporate your dog into your wedding if you are having a Hindu ceremony. Most likely, she'll be at home, having a private party with her toys.

Little doggies are a bit unpredictable - a crowd of guests can do that - if she can escort you down the aisle in front of you and fam, that would be cute.

I agree with SonaliPop, she might be at home with her toys :) Taking in the quietude :)

She's actually very well behaved. She's more like a toddler than a dog, to be honest. If we have any functions at home, she'll probably be there. She doesn't chase, run, anything. She's just happy to hang out. Best dog ever.

That is a great idea if you can some how fit it in. The doggie is very cute. I wish we had one! If your venue doesn't allow dogs, maybe you can put up a picture by the guestbook.
