Monday Madness - Plans for the Week

What are your plans for the week?

Today - pack everything that needs to be taken to the venue. Inventory and print out what has been packed so that they know what's there and we know what belongs to us to bring back.

Tomorrow - Drop off items at the venue. Pick up marriage license.

Wendesday/Thursday - gather and pack everything I need to take home for the mehndi and graha shanti

Friday - get mani/pedi and then head home for mehndi

Saturday - graha shanti and SLEEP

Sunday - Get Married. Say WHAT?!

YAY!!! THE DAY IS ALMOST HERE!!!!

Well, today we had our ultrasound. It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The tech said she looks great, healthy, perfectly normal, and my due date is exactly right.

Other stuff... all that's definite is to catch up on housework I didn't do over the weekend. Kidlet's got another - really mild - cold that FI brought home, and he was a touch on the cranky side all weekend, but was fine enough to go to school today. Thursday I have an IEP conference with his teacher about next year and the transition to kindergarten (*sniff* my baby's growing up!). Beyond that, nothing planned.

Thanks, ladies! It's crazy to think that by this time next week it will all be over. Phew!

@Beloved - congratulations on your little girl! You must be so excited! Hopefully you and the Mr. can work out a compromise on the name like you mentioned last week. If it helps, both my niece and nephew did not take my brother's first name as their middle name. They have their own meaningful middle names. My sister in law also did not change her midddle name to my brother's first name. Your daugther will be born into a cross-cultural family and I whole heartedly believe that her name should reflect that.

Weekly plans,
I've got the dentist this week, and a full workload with afterhours mayhem, ahem, more work... I'm also trying to find some new wardrobe wear for our trip, so looking for the great deals online, with coupons...

I'm VERY excited:) I wanted a girl, and he wanted to be done at two kids, so we both get what we want out of the deal!

We did get to compromise on the name with his parents. They've given us four letters to choose from - A, E, L, and something else I can't remember. So we're going to find a few we like and go from there. I'm thinking we shouldn't settle on one until the day she arrives, because what if we get our hearts set on one name and she comes out looking like something completely different? Happened with Kidlet; he was supposed to be a Robert, but the name didn't fit him at ALL when he was born.

Also, I just saw your earlier post - CONGRATULATIONS on the wedding being so close! I bet you can't wait!

Congrats on the girl! It's exciting!!

Mine is to work out! FI is sweet and is signing up for my gym so we can work out together. I'm excited to actually start losing something. Other then that we are checking off things!

Rangolli - So freakin excited!! Yaaa! Remember to enjoy every single second of it...if something goes wrong (b/c it might :$) tell someone else to fix it! and if they can't who cares! Take few moments thru the day and look at your man both of you should take in the sights smells and sounds b/c those are the moments you'll remember the most!  Enjoy yourself...and you better come back to the boards both to keep in touch with all of us and to post pictures and details of how your day went!

Beloved - Amazing news!  Congrats...now you can buy little dresses and girls clothes I missed the convo about the name...are you going with an indian name or a western name?

As for my week...we are still viewing some properties this week...hopefully something will work for us.  We'll be going to furniture stores to get more ideas on how to decorate the place.  I think will watch some more dexter and I hope to bake some muffins this weekend lol!

Thanks again, ladies! I am looking foward to the day when I can offically call him my Mr. and me his Mrs. It's been a loooong time coming!

Don't worry, I'll definitely be back afterwards with some pictures and to continue to share in each others lives

My plan is: work (lots, this is our busy season from now until Christmas ... ), lots of yoga, lots of reading on my new Kindle, and seeing my beloved nephews this weekend!

HisBelovedOne, congratulations!  We all can't wait to see pictures of the little one!

This week's plans....

Survive work (there are days were it's a challenge).

Tuesday evening - Going to cardio bellydance class.

Wednesday evening - ? Probably housework.

Thursday evening - ? Maybe go down to Monterey.... my sister is at a conference down there. It's a huge maybe because it's a 2 hour drive, each direction, which is a bit much for a work night.

Friday night - Do the end of the week happy dance. Will probably do a happy dance at work because the co-worker who really drives me crazy is taking Friday off!

Weekend - Mani/pedi and hopefully pick up my e-ring!

It used to be the partners from Bones. I changed it cause I realized they weren't really a couple... but I love the office so this works too.
