Guest book?

I totally forgot about this....what are you all doing for a guest book?  I want to be a little more unique than just the cheesy $7.99 5x7 white book from JoAnn.

There are tons of ideas out there. My favorite idea is the photo albums that people make, like on Shutterfly, and have their guests sign it yearbook style. You can also do plates and photo frames and stuff like that if that's more your style.

A lot of people also make photobooks of them and FI, like on Shutterfly, to sign.  Another idea to have everyone sign a rock, or shell, or something and fill up a bowl or vase with them.

We are doing little cards (about the size of a business card) for people to sign, then I am going to use them throughout our wedding scrapbook. I am going to try and put the card that a person wrote next to their picture in the scrapbook (we are doing a recieving line so we will have pics of all/most of the guests).

We are having a quilt made of ours.  I am having fabric squares cut and will provide fabric pens.

I made a photobook from MyPublisher for ours. In hindsight, I'd make sure the first page said specifically to sign it.... or have a sign nearby.... because many of our guests didn't want to sign it because it was "too pretty" and they didn't want to mess it up! :)

We did this as well, except we didn't get pics of each person. We figured there would be enough pics between the pro pics and the table cameras we would likely get everyone. Granted I had a small wedding with only 62 guests. It worked out great.

We did a book on Blurb.  I haven't received it yet (!!) but, their program was really stable, and its meant for photos and for text, which few other companies are geared towards (most just do photos with little captions, at best).  We have lots of text on our because I added excerpts from books, poems, and quotes, so I needed something more than that.

It was a process to get it designed the way I wanted, but ordering it was a cinch, and I paid $40 including shipping and tax (with a $15 coupon) for the hardcover premium paper version.  Not bad, I think.

There's also an etsy seller (inspiredbymarie) who sells books bound in wood that she burns with personalized designs.  I adore her work.  Here's an example -  http://www.etsy.com/listing/44909734/personalized-wedding-guest-book-scrap
